Teams are reminded via email to complete their progress tracker regularly, increasing accountability and visibility. If they fail to provide an update in time, their initiative appears “blocked” and leaders reach out – a mistake teams will only want to make once! See an example of one below:

Keep in mind:
- Progress updates give visibility to leaders and other teams.
- Be brief, clear, and specific so others understand your update.
- Be honest - the progress update is not a performance review.
- Initiative Owners are accountable, but any Team Member can complete the update.
- If your team doesn’t provide an update, it will automatically appear blocked - you can’t update after the deadline.
